ReadySetVote.org - The Easiest, Fastest Way to Decide How to Vote

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

When it comes to voting, decision overload is everywhere. In the Seattle area, for example, there were about 40 different races on last November’s ballot. With so many decisions, voting becomes difficult and time consuming. It’s no wonder why the most common reason Americans don’t vote is because they’re too busy.

ReadySetVote.org simplifies voting decisions. Seattle-area voters can create personalized voting cheat sheets using only the sources they trust and quickly fill out their ballots. Developed just in time for the 2016 general election, ReadySetVote.org leveraged public GIS technology and political endorsements. In its debut, ReadySetVote.org created a better voting experience for users, allowed more people to vote, was translated into two additional languages and helped inform tens of thousands of voting decisions.
