Did you know there are 12 steps to vote? Studies have shown that individuals have “trigger moments,” and building effective tools to enable voting requires understanding the process of voting in terms of those trigger moments. What does it mean to design voting tools that shape those trigger moments to reduce apathy and increase voter participation? Is this a technology problem? A marketing problem? What research supports the lack of trigger moments in voter behavior?
